Mid January already??? 🥴 Amongst all the chaos, the last couple of months were filled with magic moments. Cheers to a new year, friends 🥂🍾

Rarely do I take LA appointments anymore but one of my hairstylists with @onlocationglam couldn’t make it to our fabulous group of ladies attending the Emmys last night, so I filled in for her. And it’s always a dejavú moment to be back at @laliveofficial doing glam for red carpet award shows. What a fabulous time we had. 📸❤️

This beauty had NEVER had long hair like this before. For the first time she saw herself with hair past her chest thanks to her one row install of 1 hour! How can a one hour service be so transformative??!!! DM me. I’ll explain. xx

If you wanted extensions on a whim, I carry most colors in 18” length at the salon. DM me to see if it’s possible to add one row of extensions at your next appointment. The cost of hair is steep, but it’s also not an arm and a leg. And the maintenance is VERY doable. 😊

So many beautiful transformations lately.

This client was a little hesitant about extensions because she thought she may develop a migraine from the tension at the scalp or the weight of the hair. She walked out with her new hair and said it felt so light, she couldn’t even feel the added hair:

Hand tied hair extensions shouldn’t cause migraines. It may feel tight the first few days but not painfully tight. DM if you have questions! xx

The only time an extension move up takes longer than one hour, is when we’ve got two rows. But one row alone just takes an hour. Not long at all. It’s quick and fabulous!

This particular client has one row of 4 wefts. Her hair is so fragile and thin, any more than 4 wefts would be too heavy for her root. I also would never recommend two rows on her. We NEVER want a solution to become another problem.

*Any additional color or highlighting appointments are obviously not included in this one hour time slot 🤪

Making women feel and look better by adding even just one row of hair extensions makes me feel some type of (amazing) way.

Which is best for you?

Classic Highlight: Foils from roots to ends for bold, uniform brightness. Maintenance is every 6-8 weeks.

Lived-In Highlights: Softer, more blended; grow out naturally with a root shadow. Maintenance is every 8-12 weeks.

Balayage: Hand-painted for a natural, sun-kissed look with gradual lightening. Maintenance is every 12-24 weeks.

Balayage is still one of my favorite lightening techniques. It’s softly blended, brighter around your face and ends, and requires such little maintenance (2-4 times a year).
